This Privacy Policy explains how Singleton software s.r.o., registered at Javornícka 12, 97411 Banská Bystrica, Slovak Republic (“Singleton software,” “we,” “us,” “our”), collects, uses, and protects data in connection with the “Verify Company” HubSpot application (“Service”). We are the data controller for the data described in Section 2 below.
1. Scope
This policy applies to data processed through the Service. It does not cover data you store elsewhere in HubSpot, or HubSpot's own processing of your account data, which is governed by HubSpot's own privacy policy.

Important: the company registration/VAT numbers and verification results (company name, address, validity) that pass through the Service in the course of a verification are not stored in our own database. They are processed transiently, in memory, for the duration of a single verification request, and written directly back to your own HubSpot account by your workflow. We do not retain a copy.
3. How We Share Data
We share data with the following subprocessors, each acting for the specific purpose described:
- VIES (VAT Information Exchange System), operated by the European Commission — receives the registration/VAT number and country code you submit, to perform the verification. VIES is a public EU institution service, not a commercial subprocessor.
- Dodo Payments Inc. — receives billing-relevant data (subscription status, customer identifiers) to process payments as our Merchant of Record.
- Resend — receives the installing user's email address to deliver transactional notification emails.
- Vercel Inc. and Neon, Inc. — host our backend application and database respectively, and by necessity process all data described in Section 2 as part of that hosting.
- HubSpot, Inc. — the platform the Service is built on; verification results are written back to your HubSpot Company records via HubSpot's own systems.
We do not sell your data, and we do not share it with third parties for their own marketing purposes.
4. International Data Transfers
Some of our subprocessors (including Vercel and Resend) may process data on servers located outside the European Economic Area. Where this occurs, we rely on the safeguards those providers make available, such as Standard Contractual Clauses, to ensure an adequate level of protection.
5. Data Retention
We retain account-level data (portal ID, plan, notification email, usage counters) for as long as the Service remains installed on your HubSpot account, plus a reasonable period afterward for legitimate business and legal purposes. As noted above, the underlying company verification data itself is not retained.
6. Your Rights
If you are located in the European Economic Area, you have the right to request access to, correction of, or erasure of your personal data, to object to or restrict certain processing, and to data portability, subject to the limitations set out in applicable law. To exercise these rights, contact us using the details in Section 9. You also have the right to lodge a complaint with your local data protection authority.
7. Security
We apply reasonable technical and organizational measures to protect data processed through the Service, including encrypted connections (HTTPS/TLS) and access controls. No system is completely secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security.
8. Children's Privacy
The Service is intended for business use by HubSpot account administrators and is not directed at, or knowingly used by, children.
9. Changes to This Policy
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. Material changes will be reflected by updating the “Last updated” date above.
